About the event

The course is divided into two parts.

The first part, lasting three hours, is an introduction to the topic of gender equality and equal opportunities. In this section, several fundamental aspects are explored: from key words and basic principles, to history and statistics that highlight the gender inequalities still present today. Particular attention is given to gender stereotypes and unconscious prejudices, also addressing issues such as gender violence, harassment and mobbing. We also discuss the importance of inclusive language and the challenge of balancing professional and personal life.

The second part of the course, lasting one hour, focuses on the guidelines contained in UNI/PdR 125:2022 for obtaining certification of gender equality in companies. Here, we delve into the ethical principles and areas of application of this important directive, which represents a fundamental reference in the context of gender equality.

Throughout the course there will be specific discussion sessions and the analysis of practical cases, a crucial aspect to consolidate the understanding of the topics covered and to explore how the principles of gender equality can be concretely applied in everyday life and in the working context.
